TRIO-SSS Program Advisor

General Job Summary:
This is a full-time, grant funded, 205-day position on the Estherville Campus. This position will recruit eligible students for TRIO-SSS program participation. The Advisor initiates and coordinates activities to offer support to students in the areas of academic advising, 4-year transfer, cultural and career exploration. This position requires some evening and weekend hours. Position is contingent on continued grant funding. Required to travel utilizing personal vehicle. Some evening and weekend work required.

Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in counseling, education, sociology, psychology, student services or related areas required. Master’s Degree preferred. Academic Advising and experience working in a TRIO program preferred.

Salary:  $42,475 for a 205-day contract
