Recruitment and Retention Coordinator

General Job Summary:
This is a full-time, 260-day contract position located on the Emmetsburg Campus. Primary responsibilities are to coordinate and lead campus tours for potential nursing students, manage communications via email and phone, and serve as the primary academic advisor for all nursing students providing comprehensive guidance and support from initial inquiry through to graduation. May be required to travel utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance.

Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a health care field preferred. Experience in student services and/or academic advising beneficial. Must have excellent research, organizational, communication, leadership, and planning skills.

Salary:  $47,035
