Algona Campus Operations Specialist

General Job Summary:
This is a full-time position located at the Algona Campus. Primary responsibilities are to serve as the primary point of contact at the campus, welcome students and visitors, manage incoming calls, and perform a range of administrative tasks. This role will support the Continuing and Professional Education department to respond to general inquiries, coordinate class registration and reconciliation, and maintain accurate data reports. The Specialist will collaborate with various college departments to provide support and service to un- and under-employed populations. Success in this position requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Demonstrated experience and commitment to customer service is a necessity. May be required to travel utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver's license, good driving records, and provide proof of insurance.

Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalency and minimum of one year customer service work experience required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in education, student services, business, or related area is preferred. Student Services experience at the college level preferred.

Salary:  $21.21 per hour
